Kalla dissolves campaign team

Defeated presidential candidate Jusuf Kalla on Sunday dissolved the campaign team that supported him and his running mate Wiranto during July's presidential election.
 
Kalla made the announcement during a breaking of the fast event held at the Vice Presidential office in Central Jakarta.

“Today, I invite all members of the Golkar party and Pak Wiranto to end our work on the presidential election,” Kalla told kompas.com.

He added that it was the last occasion he would spend with members as the party chairman.

“I hope the next leader can improve the party,” he said. (ewd)
