Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and former central bank governor Boediono will be summoned soon by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) related to the bailout of Bank Century, which has swelled to Rp 6.76 trillion (US$682 million).
"(We will summon) Boediono and the finance minister soon," BPK member Hasan Bisri said in a press conference Tuesday, responding to a question by reporters.
BPK is auditing the bailout of Century after requests by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the House of Representatives, which question the swelling bailout.
BPK chairman Anwar Nasution said BPK would summon officials who were involved in the decision to bail out Century.
Raden Pardede, who was the secretary of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) at that time, had been summoned by BPK, he said.
