The West Java administration has instructed 738 state public health centers located along the northern and southern roads of Java to be ready round the clock during the holiday homecoming rush.

“We have instructed doctors and paramedics to be ready 24-hours to anticipate traffic accidents and to coordinate with local hospitals,” West Java Health Agency chief, Alma Luchyati said Tuesday as quoted by Antara news agency.

Alma said that all health centers had been instructed to open posts along the route.

The agency has also distributed medicines and health equipment stocks ahead of the holiday rush, she said.
