National Police will announce Saturday the results of a DNA test on the body of a terror suspect killed early Thursday in a raid in Surakarta, Central Java, believed to be Noordin M. Top, one of Southeast Asia's most wanted terrorists.

The police chief will make the announcement at 11 a.m. at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.

Police confirmed Thursday that Noordin was killed in the raid, after a fingerprint check.

The DNA test at the police hospital is expected to provide more substantive proof of Noordin’s death.

Noordin was believed to be among the four terror suspects killed in the raid. Other suspects were believed to be bomb maker Bagus “Urwah” Budi Pranoto, Susilo alias Adit, and Aryo “Aji” Sudarso, who was Noordin’s protégé.

The police could not yet confirm the other suspects' identities because they have yet to obtain DNA samples from the suspects' families.
