Search goes on for missing tourists in Pelabuhan Ratu beach

Search workers are still looking Friday for three local tourists, who reportedly went missing after being dragged into the sea by waves in Pelabuhan Ratu beach area in West Java a day earlier.
“We are focusing the search farther into the sea,” spokesman of Sukabumi regency search and rescue team Ucok told Antara news agency. Ucok said that the victims might have died.
The six-member team is cooperating with the local police in the search.
The victims were college students, identified as Nuriadi (19) and Abdullah (20) of Depok and Rusbidin (21) of Bogor.
Two of the three victims drowned off Karangnaya beach, while the third person went missing on Citepus beach.
Ucok said the accidents took place on Thursday morning when the waves were still high.
