Australian hits maker Air Supply promises to surprise Indonesian pop music lovers in their record 16th concert in the country at Gran Melia Hotel Ballroom, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
The upcoming concert is the part of Air Supply's 2009 world tour.
Air Supply is the only international artist that has performed in Indonesia for more than 15 times. Their latest Indonesian outing was in 2005.
One of the Australian duo member, Russel Hitchcock, was quoted by kompas.com as telling a press conference on Tuesday that they came back to Indonesia to fulfill their local fans’ enthusiasm.
Hitchcock's partner, Graham Russel, said that they did not afraid of terror threat in Indonesia, adding that terrorism could happen anytime and anywhere.
Air Supply will perform 17 songs in the concert, four of them to be taken from their newest album which will be launched in January 2010.
Russel added that their concert would be different from their last gig in Jakarta, four years ago, citing the new songs they would sing and music instrument they would play.
