Family to bury suspected terrorists in Kuningan

The family of Jaelani Irsyad, the father of suspected terrorists Syaifudin Zuhri and M. Syahrir, plan to bury the two siblings in their home village of Sampora in the West Java regency of Kuningan.

Members of the Jaelani’s extended family gathered at his house Friday afternoon to wait for the police’s confirmation of reports that both Syaifudin and Syahrir had been shot dead in a raid on their boarding house in Ciputat, South Tangerang, earlier in the day, kompas.com reported.

Sucihani, sister of the two terror suspects, said the family had been notified of the raid by a relative in Tangerang.

Several police officers were seen at Sucihani’s house collecting the school diplomas of the two suspects, which are required for fingerprint checks.
