Dozens of Indonesian migrant workers who returned to Jember, East Java were infected with HIV/AIDS, a local doctor said Sunday.
A Jember's Soebandi Hospital doctor, Justina Evi Tyaswati said 30 percent of 227 HIV positive patients recorded in the hospital were migrant workers.
"The HIV positive migrant workers have worked in several countries," she said as quoted by Antara.
As the workers were infected with HIV, they could no longer work overseas, she added.
