Banten send volunteers, aid for quake victims

Banten Governor Ratu Atut Choisyah dispatched volunteers and aid to help the earthquake victims in West Sumatera in an official ceremony on Tuesday.

The volunteers consistsof nurses, officers and doctors, while the aid was including money and medical staffers, kompas.com has reported.

The governor said that she was expecting the volunteers would coordinate with the West Sumatera's administration in distributing the aid.

“I hope the aid may reach particularly those who have not received it,” she said. (ewd)
