State oil and gas company PT Pertamina has cut the price of the non-subsidized high-octane fuel Pertamax by Rp 300 (3 US cents) per liter.
The new price is effective from Thursday, Pertamina's spokesman Basuki Trikora Putra said in a press release.
"The price is adjusted to the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS), which has decreased by between 2.6 percent and 7.3 percent," Basuki said.
Pertamax prices also decreased in several other areas between Rp 300 and Rp 500 per liter.
