Darwin Saleh, an economist from the University of Indonesia and a Democratic Party member, said Sunday that he was assigned by President-elect Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to hold a post related to economic growth, social welfare and investment.
“I was asked about economic growth targets, social welfare and investment indicators,” Darwin said.
He also said he was told by the President to eradicate red-tape practices to facilitate investment growth in Indonesia.
