tarting Oct. 25, Malaysia Airlines will be running direct Kuala Lumpur-Istanbul flights on top of increasing flight frequency to three times a week.
The addition was due to increasing demand on the popular route.
Malaysia Airlines' MH30 flight will depart from KL every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 12:30 a.m., to arrive in Istanbul on the same day at 6 a.m. local time. The return flight, MH31, leaves Istanbul at 3 p.m. on the same days to arrive in KL the next morning at 7:05 a.m. local time.
"We are connecting our Dubai flights with Istanbul on top of running direct flights to the city," said Malaysia Airlines Network and Revenue Management senior GM Amin Khan. "In accordance with the Business Transformation Plan program, we will also be building networks to connect Australia and Turkey via KL International Airport."
