Top seeds through at Bukit Asam Open

ALEMBANG: National players, who are going to the upcoming SEA Games, were still too strong for their opponents at the Bukit Asam Open tennis tournament on Wednesday.

Christopher Rungkat, Sunu Wahyu Trijati and Nesa Arta all advanced to the next stage in the men's singles and doubles. Top seed Christopher pounded Muhammad Faisal Aidil 6-1, 6-1, while Sunu and Nesa notched up their 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 drubbings over Dicky Rosadi and Denggan Pulungan respectively.

Christopher and Nesa were also through in the men's doubles division. So was Sunu, pairing with Surya Wijaya.

In the women's singles, top seeds Ayu Fani Damayanti and Liviana Tananta also faced little opposition in their matches against Rani Fitri and Nina Septrita.
