SBY gets Russian rifle for his b'day

President Susilo Bambang Yu-dhoyono received a belated gift for his 60th birthday from his Russian counterpart Dimitri Medvedev on Saturday morning.
The birthday present, a hunting rifle, was handed over by Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Alexander A. Ivanov at the Halim Perdanakusumah International Airport in East Jakarta, just before Yudhoyono left for Hua Hin, Thailand, for the ongoing ASEAN Summit.
"It is for the President's 60th birthday," Ivanov said before handing over the present.
"The two presidents have established good personal relations and this present from the Russian president to President Yudhoyono is a symbol of our friendship and intention to strengthen our relationship."
This occasion, Ivanov said, also brings to mind the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Indonesia next year.
Yudhoyono turned 60 on Sep. 9, while Medvedev born on Sept. 14, 1965, in 44.
