Sri Martuti, the first wife of former director of state pharmaceutical firm PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran Nasrudin Zulkarnaen, testified during the trial of Snr. Comr. Wiliardi Wizard, in the murder case of Nasrudin at South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday.
“My husband told me that he had asked for some help from Antasari Azhar after he had failed to be selected as director of state firm PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI),” Sri told the court.
Sri also said that her husband would have a project in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, worth Rp 1. 5 billion (US$ 150,000) in the near future.
“He said the project had been consulted with former chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Antasari, so the money was “halal”or permitted,” she said, adding that the conversation had occurred on March 9, less than a week before Nasrudin had been shot.
She said that her husband had promised to give her Rp 500 million as fees from the project.
“But I did not know any more details about the project,” she said.
Nasrudin was shot on March 15, by a group of gunmen in Tangerang, Banten. Other defendants Antasari and Sigid Haryo Wibisono are undergoing trial at the same court while alleged executors are undergoing sessions for the same case at the Tangerang District Court.
