The government will hold a national-scale summit on Oct. 29-31 to tap inputs from all stakeholders concerning the 2010-2014 national roadmap.

Focusing on three sectors -- economy, people's welfare and law and bureaucracy reform -- the summit is aimed at expanding the ownership of the government's roadmap to include all stakeholders in creating a successful five-year program, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Hatta Rajasa told a press conference Wednesday.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will open the summit on Thursday at Hotel Bidakara in Jakarta.

The three sectors, each of which is divided into six commissions, will then be discussed at Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

"What we are aiming for is to address obstacles and bottlenecks hampering economic growth in the last five years, to have a higher growth in the next five years," said Hatta.
