High-profile officials, including President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, were mentioned in a tape recording of a plot to fabricate criminal charges against two suspended deputy chairmen of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

As well as the President, the recording revealed an alleged conversation between Anggodo Widjojo and former intelligence chief at the Attorney General's Office (AGO) Wisnu Subroto. In the dialogue between the two, the name of Susno, allegedly referring to the chief detective of the National Police Susno Duadji, was brought up.

Anggodo Widjojo is the brother of graft suspect Anggoro Widjojo, who is still at large in Singapore. The recording was played during a hearing at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday as part of the judicial review requested by the KPK leaders Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra M. Hamzah.

Kompas.com
reported that some of the conversations on the tape recording mentioned the name of Ritonga, allegedly referring to the Deputy Attorney General Abdul Hakim Ritonga.
Abdul himself has repeatedly denied any role in the alleged fabrication case.

Below is an excerpt from a conversation between Anggodo and an unidentified woman on August 10.

The woman: Ritonga asked “Is Anggodo sick?” Ritonga is a good person who knows how to repay a favor. Ritonga said “Tell Pak Anggodo that a lot of friends will support him. Not to get stressed. If he is stressed, he cannot think”. (ewd)
