TANGERANG: Daniel Daen, the alleged murderer of former PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran director Nasruddin Zulkarnaen failed to testify at the Tangerang District Court on Monday claiming he was suffering from stress.
Dedi, a Tangerang penitentiary doctor who examined the defendant confirmed that Daniel was suffering from digestive problems.
"His blood pressure is also high as a result of stress," he told the hearing.
Presiding judge M. Asnun who initially accused the defendant of stalling the trial by pretending that he was sick, gave in and delayed the hearing until next Monday.
Besides Daniel, the four other suspects being tried at the court are Henrikus Kia Walen, Herry Santosa, Fransiskus Tadin Keran and Eduardus Ndopo Mbete. - JP
