A fact-finding team member Todung Mulya Lubis says the team is disappointed the police will not continue to detain Anggodo Widjojo, despite his allegedly arranging incriminatory dossiers with legal officers against the two Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputies Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra M. Hamzah.
"We have met with the National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri,” Todung said. “He said police would not arrest Anggodo Widjojo if police did not find evidence."
"This move is not just.
“We heard in the recording how powerful Anggodo is, with his ability to set up a dossier with police officers and prosecutors."
He said the National Police should learn from the Constitutional Court, which demonstrated a breakthrough in the fight against corruption by broadcasting Anggodo's taped recording to the public.
