Malaysia deports 117 migrant workers

Malaysia has deported 117 migrant workers via Tunon Taka seaport of Nunukan regency, East Kalimantan for violating immigration regulations.

“Most of the workers' passports are already invalid,” Adj. Comr. Beny Fatur Waluyo from the Nunukan Resort Police said on Wednesday.

He added that the workers, comprising of 94 men, 17 women and six children, had arrived in Nunukan from Tawao last night.

“They are in good conditions. Some of them told me they will arrange for new passports and go back to Malaysia,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com. (ewd)
