National Police chief Bambang Hendarso Danuri has said he needs a copy of the wiretapped conversation between Anggodo Widjojo and police officers in order to take measures against his officers.

A fact-finding team member Koesparmono Irsan said Wednesday that Bambang, in a meeting with the fact-finding team, thought there was not enough evidence his officers were involved in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) framing.

"The National Police chief needs a copy of the recording, but the KPK said it would be a pity should the recording be given to the police," he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

A number of police officers were mentioned in Anggodo's wiretap recording, such as Dik Dik (allegedly National Police deputy chief of detectives Insp. Gen. Dik Dik Mulyana), Brig. Gen. Jovianes Maher, Sr. Comr. Beny Mokalu, Adj. Sr. Comr. Gupuh and Comr. Suparman.
