National Police deputy chief of detectives Dik Dik Mulyana denied Wednesday his name was mentioned in the Anggodo Widjojo recording related to the arrest of two Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputies, which was broadcast Tuesday in a Constitutional Court trial.

"It was not me,” Dik Dik, who was previously Riau Islands Police chief, told kompas.com. “I have only been working for [the National Police] for a month."

In the wiretap, Dik Dik was named as a special investigator in the case against one of the KPK deputies, Chandra M. Hamzah.
