The National Police said Wednesday it would wait for a recommendation from the fact-finding team, established by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, before deciding whether to suspend its chief of detectives Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji.
"Let's await the result from our meeting with the fact-finding team,” National Police legal division chief Brig. Gen. Budi Gunawan told kompas.com. “We will consider suspending him."
Susno was said to be named several times in Anggodo's wiretapped recording in a case related to the alleged attempted criminalizing of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which was broadcast at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday.
Police have questioned Susno following the broadcast but no action has been taken yet.
