BANJARMASIN: Police said Wednesday they had seized around 10 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, worth around Rp 12.5 billion (US$1.3 million) at market price, from two suspects in a raid.
Antara state news agency quoted Banjarmasin Police drug crime unit chief Adj. Comr. M Rifa'i as saying his office raided a house in the Jahari Saleh area of North Banjarmasin and arrested Surya Afandi and Nur Ahmad Tuesday following a tip-off from residents.
The confiscated crystal methamphetamine (shabu-shabu) was packed in 62 small bags. The police are still investigating the case. - JP
