NUSA DUA: A 32-year-old Ukranian tourist was found hanging off the side of a glass-bottom boat near the St. Regis Hotel in Nusa Dua, Bali, last month, police said recently.
The man, identified only as Tsehenko Igor, had apparently tried to kill himself on the night of Oct. 22, 2009 when a police patrol found him.
The police had been called to the scene after a securtiy guard at the hotel called in to report the attempted suicide.
At first, the man insisted on trying to hang himself, refusing all offers by the police to intervene.
It remains unknown why he tried to kill himself. - JP
