A government-sanctioned fact-finding team is summoning former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Antasari Azhar to appear in an inquiry session over an alleged bribery that have implicated two KPK deputies.

Antasari is scheduled to attend the session at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Presidential Advisory Council office in Central Jakarta.

Noted lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution, leader of the team, said that Antasari's testimony was important in the investigation into alleged bribery and extortion implicating suspended KPK deputy chiefs Chandra M. Hamzah and Bibibt Samad Rianto.

“The case was investigated  following whose complaints? Antasari's or Anggodo's? We have to be clear on this,” he said Saturday as quoted by kompas.com.

Adnan was referring to Anggodo Widjojo, brother of graft suspect Anggoro Widjojo. Earlier this week, KPK played wiretapped phone conversations, in which Anggodo was involved in active conversation with high ranking law enforcement officials to fabricate evidence against the KPK deputies.

In Saturday afternoon, leaders of the KPK and Attorney General’s Office will attend a gathering at the Presidential Advisory Council’s office where National Police top detectives are to present results of their investigation into the KPK deputies's case before the fact-finding team.
