Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chairman Antasari Azhar, a suspect in a murder case, arrived at the office of the Presidential Advisory Council in Jakarta on Sunday to meet with the fact finding team, established by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Arriving at the office, Antasari directly entered into the building and refused to speak to journalists. "Later," he was quoted by Kompas.com as saying.
Antasari was summoned by the fact finding team in relation to his testimony where he said a number of KPK leaders recieved money from PT Masaro Radiokom president director, Anggoro Widjojo, a suspect in a corruption case at the Forestry Ministry.
The police used the testimony by Antasari to charge KPK deputy chiefs Chandra M. Hamzah and Bibit Samad Rianto
Antasari is facing a court trial in which state prosecutors charged him of masterminding a drive-by assassination of a president of state-owned company.
The fact finding team, led by noted lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution, questioned Antasari on Saturday evening. Today’s questioning would be his second.
