The Jakarta chapter of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Jakarta) will hold the first small and medium enterprises (SME) exhibition at Plaza Pameran Industry at the Industry Ministry from Dec. 8 to 11.
“The unique thing about the exhibition is that we require participants to bring some of their equipment to demonstrate their production processes,” Rainer Tobing, Kadin Jakarta chamber's deputy head for industry, energy and agriculture, said Monday.
He said some 50 traders from nine industry sectors had confirmed their participation as of Monday.
The four-day exhibition, to be held in cooperation with the Jakarta Industry and Energy Agency, is expected to attract over 100 potential buyers.
“We will try to organize it every year,” Rainer said, adding that the fair would feature business seminars and traditional art as well as music performances.
