Ship crew arrested for lack of documents

SURABAYA: The Indonesian Navy has arrested dozens of ship crew members for failing to show proper documents while they were sailing on the eastern Indonesia waters.
Head of the information office of the Navy's Easter Region Command Lt. Col. Toni Syaiful said in a release over the weekend that both the ships, KM Josua-34 and LCT Surya Fortuna, were arrested at different locations.
KM Josua was arrested by the Indonesian Warship (KRI) Teluk Cendrawasih-533 on Maluku waters, while LCT Surya Fortuna was arrested by KRI Taliwangsa on the Makassar Strait waters.
When inspected, both the ships' Indonesian captains, Joulisan Delanoh of KM Josua and his 21 crew members, and Marlion of LCT Surya Fortuna and his seven crew members, could not show the required documents. - JP
