The fact-finding team plans to question three Attorney General's Office officials and a Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) official before it concludes its investigation into the alleged abuse of power and extortion cases implicating suspended KPK deputy chiefs Chandra M. Hamzah and Bibit S. Rianto.

The team plans to have an internal meeting on Tuesday morning and will conduct the inquiry sessions in the afternoon.

Anies Baswedan, a member of the team, said Monday the team had gathered the main details of the case and was intending to look for auxiliary facts in the following week.

The team is planning to question suspended deputy attorney general Abdul Hakim Ritonga, former assistant to the attorney general for intelligence Wisnu Subroto, prosecutor Irwan Nasution, and KPK director Ade Raharja.

Abdul, Wisnu, Irwan and Ade were all mentioned in wiretapped phone conversations in which Anggodo Widjojo, brother of graft suspect Anggoro Widjojo who is still at large, allegedly constructed a plot to incriminate the KPK deputies.

The police have accused Chandra and Bibit of receiving Rp 2.5 billion (US$ 250,000) between them to halt investigations into a graft case at the Forestry Ministry involving Anggoro.

Head of the team Adnan Buyung Nasution said on Monday, however, that the police did not have sufficient evidence to charge them.

The team will submit its temporary report to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the contents of which go exclusively to the President.
