Tourist arrivals in Bali increase

DENPASAR: The Bali Statistics Agency has revealed a promising figure of the island's foreign tourist arrivals, which reached 1, 756, 491 people by September 2009.

The figure increased by 13.60 percent from the same period last year, which recorded 1, 546,266 tourists.

Agency head Ida Komang Wisnu said most of the visitors came from Australia, Japan, China, France and Taiwan. -JP
