House of Representatives Commission III officially opens its hearing with the National Police, the Attorney General's Office (AGO), and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
The commission chairman, Benny K. Harman, during his opening speech said that one of the hearing agendas was to clarify the institutions' stance on the recent recommendations issued by the fact finding team on the KPK debacle.
The team was responsible for finding facts about the alleged conspiracy between a number of high ranking officials at the National Police and the AGO to frame two KPK suspended deputy chairmen, Chandra M. Hamzah and Bibit Samad Riyanto.
In its recommendations yesterday, the team said that the Chandra-Bibit case should be dropped due to lack of evidence.
