Police seize unregistered sexual enhancement drugs

JAKARTA: Thousands of sexual performance-enhancing drugs have been confiscated from a warehouse in Pademangan, North Jakarta, police said Wednesday.

"None of the drugs meet BPOM standards and all pose a credible danger to would-be consumers," Sr. Comr. Anjan Pramuka Putra, the head of the Jakarta Police narcotics division said.

Anjan said the police had also arrested a businessman who, since last year, had regularly imported the drugs from China every two months.

Anjan claimed the suspect received up to Rp 260 million (US$27,560) in monthly sales. - JP
