Three people are dead following the crash of a government helicopter in southern South Korea.
The state-run Korea Forest Service says that one of its helicopters went down into a lake in Yeongam on Monday during a training mission. The lake is about 240 miles (380 kilometers) south of Seoul.
Service official Choi Kwan-muk says that rescuers have found the dead bodies of the helicopter's pilot and two deputy pilots.
Choi says it is not immediately known what caused the Russian-made KA-32T helicopter to crash.
Yonhap news agency reported the helicopter was drawing lake water before crashing as part of its training on putting out fires.
