Pasha too sick for detention

JAKARTA: As cliché as it is, having a medical condition is an argument that works efficiently if one wants to avoid anything from a working day to a court detention.

Claiming to be too sick to undergo his current legal case, Ungu pop band vocalist Pasha was absent from what supposed to be the start of his detention at the Bogor District Court on Monday.

“He’s down and ill. The last time I spoke with him on the phone a couple of days ago, his voice sounded really bad,” Pasha’s legal representative Michael Pardede told newsportal Inilah.com on Monday.

Michael denied that the 29-year old musician was trying to halt his legal case and said that he was also thinking of filing a delay for Pasha’s detention.

Pasha’s current legal case started with his prolonged argument with his ex-wife, Okie Agustina. Okie later reported Pasha to the police for allegedly abusing her during their last face-to-face argument. — JP
