JAKARTA: Ancol Dreamland Park operator PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol is planning to treat seawater using reverse osmosis technology to meet its need for clean water.

"We will be treating 5,000 cubic meters of seawater per day," the company's president director, Budi Karya Sumadi, said Tuesday.

Budi said the production could be increased to 10,000 cubic meters so area residents could also benefit from the facility.

As of the third quarter of this year, the company secured revenues of Rp 508.716 billion. It is also expected to attract 14,154,000 visitors this year, compared to 13,939,000 last year. - JP
