JAKARTA: National Police investigators have questioned eight witnesses in connection with a case involving businessman Anggodo Widjojo, and will summon a woman whose tapped phone conversation with Anggodo unveiled a plot to frame Corruption Eradication Commission deputies.

Deputy detective chief Insp. Dikdik Mulyana Arif Mansyur, however, refused to disclose the whereabouts of Ong Yuliana, who mentioned the names of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Deputy Attorney General Abdul Hakim Ritonga in her conversation with Anggodo.

"We insist *on summoning Yuliana*. Basically those who are involved will be questioned," Dikdik said Tuesday.

He added the police could not declare Anggodo suspect and detain him, due to lack of evidence.

The police have prepared six Criminal Code articles to ensnare Anggodo, including defamation against the President and bribery. - JP
