Tessa armed with quinine pills for next movie

JAKARTA: Having to shoot a movie in Atambua, actress-cum-model Tessa Kaunang wanted to be prepared for the worst. So when she packed for her five-day trip, she made sure she took malaria tablets.

"Thank God I didn't have to stay for one month in Atambua. I was only there for five days," the daughter of rock musician Arthur Kaunang said, as quoted by newsportal Kapanlagi.com on Tuesday. "Most of my scenes were shot in Jakarta."

She stayed in Atambua for five days to shoot some of the scenes of her new movie, Tanah Air Beta (My Home Country) produced by Nia Zulkarnaen. Although Atambua Has been declared a malaria-free area, the 33-year-old woman preferred not to take any risks.
