The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) will jointly open the Rp 6.7 trillion (US$710 million) Bank Century bail out fund scandal, KPK chairman Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean said on Wednesday.
"We will soon invite BPK to explain its audit on Bank Century. We are ready and still waiting for BPK's response," he said, as quoted by Kompas.com.
If necessary, Tumpak said, KPK would summon Vice President Boediono, who was Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor at that time, to explain BI decision to help Bank Century.
KPK would also coordinate with the Financial Transaction Report Analysis Center to examine the flow of Bank Century bail out fund, he added.
