Another death in Jakarta shopping center

A man, identified as Richard Kurniawan (37), was found dead in front of Mangga Dua Square shopping center in Central Jakarta on Friday, the third death in a shopping center in the week, kompas.com has reported.

His body was found at around 3 a.m. by the shopping center's security guard. It is suspected that he had fallen from either the seventh or the eleventh floor of the mall.

Police have yet to make a statement over the incident as to whether it was an accident or a suicide.

The man's relatives came to Cipto Mangunkusumo Morgue, where his body was taken to, to complete the identification process.

On Monday, a young woman died instantly after falling from fifth floor of Grand Indonesia shopping mall in Central Jakarta.

A few hours later at Senayan City mall in South Jakarta, a man jumped to his death from the mall's fifth floor.
