Coal coming up

PT PLN Batubara, a division of state power utility PT PLN will assure the supply of 8 million tons of coal annually to PLN coal-powered plants starting in 2011. Total demand for coal will reach 40.7 million tons in 2011, compared to 22.8 million tons this year and 29.6 million tons predicted in 2010. (JP/R. Berto Wedhatama)
