We are Dutch and live in Spain. My husband was born in Surabaya and lived in Bandung until he was 17 years old. He still speaks Indonesian. We met someone in Bali who had a project to build 28 villas, but he needed investors.
We had a real estate company in Spain for 13 years and a big network. We had the investors and using our money we could start the project. We used our money and our partner from Bali brought nothing. (By Clarie Morks, Marbella, Spain)

I feel very sorry to hear your experience in investing in Indonesia. I think it is the right time for you to use media to blow up your case and expose to the public the real state of the Indonesian justice system.
That is the only way your case will be prioritized by the Indonesian government. This is the right moment to show the real condition of law and justice in Indonesia along with the public distrust in the National Police following its conspiracy to criminalize leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Don't wait too long.

There is no justice. I don't totally agree with the statement, but I do realize what has happened in our lovely country. People create a bad image of justice in our country and even the institutions.
Not only you, but also people are upset but it is a matter of time since our lovely President has announced in a speech that he has declared war on the "judicial mafia". Allah is not blind.
Be positive and you will find a positive result.

If what you have written is true, as an Indonesian I am upset and ashamed.
Have you made representations to the Governor of Bali (Made Mangku Pastika)? He is known to be a man of justice and is very committed as a governor.
He was also a retired police general who is well-respected internationally.

People's perceptions about Jews -- Nov. 26, p. 28
His recent visit to Aceh made Antony Loewenstein the first Jew that most people in the country's devoutly Muslim province had ever met or engaged with.
Some Acehnese he met were surprised to learn that the Jewish-Australian journalist, author of the controversial and best-selling book My Israel Question, was a harsh critic of Israel's policy on Palestine, and was in fact a supporter of the latter. (By Desy Nurhayati, Ubud).
Your comments:
This man does not represent Jews. Indonesians must understand that Loewenstein's ideas are misleading. He speaks for a tiny minority of anti-Zionist Jews. The real issue is not occupation, but Arab and Islamist rejection of Israel, and of Jews to have the political rights they deserve in their ancestral homeland. Loewenstein's philosophy is a recipe for permanent war, not peace.
