Kemang Festival is on after getting residents' nod

JAKARTA: Kemang Festival will go ahead on Saturday and Sunday after a schedule delay due to residents' protests.

"The event organizer managed to negotiate with residents and finally they resolved the problem," Bangka subdistrict head, Somad, was quoted as saying by vivanews.com Friday. Residents objected to the event, saying they could not participate, while they had to suffer the traffic jam the event created. - JP
