Pertamina told to speed up Natuna gas project

The government has instructed state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina to speed up the development of the Natuna gas project in Riau islands.

"Don't be late, but don't finish too fast," Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Darwin Saleh said as quoted by Kompas.com.

Darwin also said Natuna gas would be mainly exported.
"Based on law, if the reserve and production scale is big, the gas will be exported...," he said.
