PLN receives Rp 4.8 trillion for transmission projects
State power firm PT PLN received Rp 4.8 trillion (US$ 506 million) in syndicated loans from four largest Indonesian banks to finance its transmission projects in Java and outside Java, part of the fast-track 10,000 MW program to provide electricity nationwide.
Bank Mandiri disbursed Rp 1.13 trillion, Bank BNI Rp 1.35 trillion, Bank BRI Rp 1.31 trillion and Bank BCA Rp 800 billion, Mandiri said in a statement Monday.
Rp 1.93 trillion will be channeled for transmission projects outside Java, Rp 2.61 trillion in Java, as well as Rp 327.19 billion for transmission sub-stations.
The loans will mature in 10 years, Mandiri said.
