Intelligence student might get 10 years

BOGOR: The prosecutor of Cibinong District Court in Bogor sentenced Neo Fajar, a senior student at Sandi Negara College (STSN) or Institute of State Intelligence Codes, to 10 years imprisonment for torturing a fellow student.

While reading the indictment, prosecutor Indah Laila said the defendant was proven guilty of torturing new student Wisnu Ajar, 17, to death, during school orientation.

She said according to witness testimonies and a forensic report from PMI hospital in Bogor, the defendant was responsible for wounds and injuries caused by a blunt tool.

Gunara, one of the Neo's and STSN's lawyers, said he asked the court to consider that the defendant was still doing his thesis. - JP
