The House of Representatives inquiry committee on the Bank Century bailout is having an open meeting with the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in Jakarta.

"The main agenda of this meeting is to inspect the BPK's audit report on the Bank Century case," the committee chairman, Idrus Marham from the Golkar Party, said.

In its audit report, the BPK reported that there might have been a number of regulation violations during the decision-making process to bailout the bank.

The BPK reported that there might have been misconduct on the part of Bank Indonesia during the pre-bailout process.

BPK chairman Hadi Purnomo said he would do his best to cooperate with the committee by giving its members all the necessary information.
