Indonesia moves up to third place at SEA Games

Indonesia moved up to third from fifth position on Wednesday at the 2009 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) with 32 gold and 37 silver medals, leapfroging Singapore and Malaysia.

Indonesia earned six gold medals on Wednesday including from 100 meter sprinter Suryo Agung, and Agung Prayogo in the men's 1000 meters.

Singapore dropped to fourth with 32 gold medals and 23 silver, while Malaysia was fifth with 29 gold, the official website of the 2009 SEA Games says.

Thailand still topped the medal tally, with 61 gold and 68 silvers, followed by Vietnam with 61 gold and 55 silvers, in second place.
