JAKARTA: Attorney General Hendarman Supandji said Deputy Attorney General Darmono had been appointed to replace Abdul Hakim Ritonga. Darmono was previously posted as junior attorney general for internal career development.
Abdul Hakim Ritonga handed in his resignation after his name was mentioned by Anggodo Widjojo, the younger brother of fugitive graft suspect Anggoro Widjojo, during a telephone conversation that mentioned efforts to weaken the graft fight.
Darmono's post as junior attorney general for internal career development would be given to Iskamto, currently acting as junior attorney general for intelligence.
Iskamto's position will be filled by M. Amari, currently East Java Prosecutors' Office chief.
"The inauguration of these officials will occur Dec. 23," Hendarman said. - JP
