President meets with Norwegian PM

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono meets with Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday evening (Thursday Jakarta time) in Copenhagen.

Antara state news agency reported that both heads of states were going to have discussion on bilateral relations and issues related to the on going 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

Negotiations to combat global warming entered a fraught 11th day Thursday with diplomatic deadlock looming and barely a day left before more than 100 other leaders hope to sign a historic agreement to control greenhouse gas emissions.

Yudhoyono is in the Danish capital on his foreign working visit, in which he had been in Berlin. He will stay in Copenhagen until Dec. 19.
